Giant Strides was founded with Kowboy (Extreme Eldorado vom Mutter Haus), who sired 21 puppies. Kowboy was then joined by Angel (Grandé Quintessential) CGC. Giant Strides breeding program was then continued by Kowboys son Kasey (Karbon Kopy vom Mutter Haus) CGC, who sired 23 pups and Angels daughter, Onyx (Giant Strides Angel Spread Your Wings) CGC, TKN. Our next upcoming litter is expected in June of 2024, sired by another offspring of Kowboy, Olaf (Aspen Leaf's Bear Creek Olaf) CH, Int' CH.

CGC is the Canine Good Citizen, which shows the dog is social and can adapt to anybody.

AKC is the American Kennel Club.

ATT is a general temperament test for all breeds and mixed breeds of dogs that will asess the dogs reaction to a variety of stimuli.

TKN is Novice Trick Dog which shows the dog performs 10 skills from the Novice.

Kowboy (Extreme Eldorado vom Mutter Haus)

Kowboy (AKC & Silver Int’l CH Extreme Eldorado vom Mutter Haus ATT) is a 10 year old neutered male with an extremely playful personality. Sire to Kasey and many more pups, Kowboy has the working mentality that is truly desired in a Giant. Currently living in Wisconsin with a Yorkie as a canine companion, he is thriving in his older years. Kowboy has a truly gentle personality combined with the working mentality which makes you feel is still a pup. As his breeder once said “Kowboy is the perfect giant of form and function”. Breeding by frozen semen only is available.

Kasey (Karbon Kopy vom Mutter Haus)

Kasey (Giant Strides Karbon Kopy vom Mutter Haus) CGC

Kasey is (now retired and neutered) is a 6 year old male AKC Champion with Canine Good Citizen title. Kasey has worked as a therapy dog visiting the elderly in nursing homes and having children read to him at the public library. He is the the true meaning of Gentle Giant. Breeding availability by frozen semen only.

Angel (Grandé Quintessential CGC)

Angel is an 8 year old spayed female and Dam to Onyx. Angel is the full meaning of athleticism, not only showing this in the confirmation ring, but also by competing in Fast-Cat, Disc Dog and Fetch Competitions. She was a wonderful producer of show nad performance pups. You can find them at various shows across the United States!

Onyx (Giant Strides Angel Spread Your Wings)

Onyx is an amazing 4 yr old Giant female obtained her AKC championship in just Five shows earning her “Major’s” (meaning 3 to 5 Points each show) and giving her a start on her Grand-Championship before reaching her first birthday. Onyx holds her Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog Novice titles.

Olaf (Aspen Leaf's Bear Creek Olaf)

Olaf is an AKC Champion and International Champion, CGC, TKN, CHIC Certified

Olaf is a 6 yr old owned by Vicki Kallett, and was sired by our Kowboy. Olaf has a personable temperament, and is extremely obedient as well as helpful around the house by cleaning up after his other two housemate dogs and collecting the food bowls bringing them to Vicki once the meals are complete. Olaf is the sire of the upcoming Giant Strides litter with Onyx (Giant Strides Angel Spread Your Wings).
